Fermoyle Strand

Fermoyle strand is located between The Maherees Peninsula and Brandon Bay.

Access to this beach is by a secondary road that branches off the N86 so for HGVs it will be difficult to access the car park due to a small bridge. The car park itself can hold about ten cars. The beach is about two kilometres in length at low tide and at full tide it is completely under water. The beach provides stunning views of the Brandon Mountains to the West. This beach is more popular with locals so it is an ideal location if other beaches are busy in the summer season. The location is without electrical power, toilets or other amenities. The nearest Village is Stradbally, five kilometres to the East.
