The Bridewell
An old colonial prison and court that has been kept as a museum,
but the old style of the building has been maintained.
A fifteenth century castle located at the mouth of the Shannon.
Parking is available with spaces for ten cars. The location can easily be accessed with commercial vans also. There are no toilets, electricity supply or WiFi access at this location. The nearest village is Ballylongford which is five kilometres away. Permission to film here needs to be sought from the Office of Public Works.
