Cromane Strand
Cromane is located nine kilometres West of Killorglin on the Iveragh peninsula, nestled in Castlemaine harbour.
Inch is one of Ireland's most famous beaches. It is a peninsula, three kilometres in length, with rolling sand dunes and a wide stretch of beach at low tide.
As it is west facing, it provides stunning sunsets in the summer months. It is possible to drive on the beach but caution is urged as cars can get caught in soft and wet sand particularly on the South end of the beach. The car park can accommodate about twenty cars or two large trucks. If more space is needed for large vehicles, it is possible to park at the North end of the beach at low tide. Public toilets are located near a larger car park which is open during the peak summer season. There is also a shop/cafe/pub located at the entrance to the beach.
